Brewoff and Potluck May 10th

bottles

It has been a while since we've had a brewoff so we are definitely overdue. This time around we are gonna change things up a little bit and do an all IPA brewoff to appease the hop gods. Each member of the staff (Dennis included) will design one recipe, with the 6th batch being made by one lucky Mug Clubber (to be determined). This will be a competition (there is a lot of pride on the line and someone is sure to cry in the end) and we will do a vote at the bottling party for the supreme IPA. We will brew all 6 batches Thursday May 10th and then bottle them Thursday May 24th. This will be a potluck event so come thirsty and bring a snack to share.

What: All IPA Brewoff

Where: Gallaghers' Where U Brew

When: Thursday May 10th 5:30-8ish

More: Bring a snack to share and come ready to have a good time.

We Still Have Few Limited Wines
limitedsThe Spanish Matador Trio (our last limited wine of the year) has arrived.

Spanish Matador Trio -Tempranillo are deep blue-black berries, high in color and extract, with delicate aromas. Cabernet Sauvignon's small berries yield high tannins and intense structure, while Monastrell adds grip, earthiness and ripe red fruit. Lush, tannic and complex, with intense black fruit flavors of black cherry, raspberry, black currant and notes of plums and tobacco, the wine takes gracefully to oak, adding layers of vanilla, cedar and rich coffee nuances.

We still have a few of the other limiteds available. You can find more information about our limited wines here, and if you have any questions please feel free to give us a ring at the brewery.

Fathers Day Brewers Festival

brewers festIt's almost time again for the annual Father's Day Brewers Festival again. This year there will be a change in the venue. In years past the festival has been held at St. Edwards Park, this year it will be at Marymoore Park in Redmond. The festival will run from June 15th-17th. So mark it on your calendars now and make sure to represent by wearing a Gallaghers' shirt. More information on the festivals details can be found here.

See you at the brewery!

Cheers,
