It's spring time once again and you can almost hear the crack of the bats at Safeco. Flowers are blooming and hopefully one day the sun will be back for more than just a guest appearance. Here at Gallaghers', we are gearing up to get our spring and summer started right. We are bringing in new brewing ingredients, new limited wines, and a whiskey barrel! Hang Ten
Syrah Zinfandel Barbera Blend
California brings together the best of vine and sea. Surfing and wine are essential to Californian culture. This wine blends together three fun loving varietals captured in one notorious Californian phrase "Hang Ten". Sit back, relax and embody Californian lifestyle with this easy drinking wine that is sure to impress.
Intense fruit flavours of dried fruits such as dates are balanced by smooth chocolate and hints of vanilla. Your experience is enhanced with fermentation on Hungarian oak cubes and Shiraz Genuwine Winery Dried Grape Skins.

What's Brewing!?
New Ingredients and Delicious Beers
We sure have been busy down here at the "new-old" Brewery. We have been using a new hop variety recently. It is actually not just one hop but a hybrid put togther by HopUnion that is comprised of; Citra, Simcoe, Sorachi Ace, Columbus, Centennial and other NorthWest hop varieties. The blend is named Falconer's Flight after Glen Hay Faconer, a pioneer in the hop industry. Decently bitter, with alpha acids in the 11% range, it also has the signature citrus aroma and flavor that you expect from hops like Simcoe and Citra. We are always looking to try new ingredients and expand our brewing repetiore. We recently added a brand new grain; a roasted rye. This grain would be great in a stout or porter. It has a dry roasted, slightly bitter flavor. Next time you're in brewing feel free to ask us about it and maybe we can add some to the beer you brew. |
Whiskey Barrel Love
Dry Fly Whiskey
 Our good friend John picked up this amazing Dry Fly Whisky Barrel from Spokane, Wash. This very rare Wheat Whisky was aged in the American oak barrel for 18 months, and now it is time to introduce it to a delicious Gallagher stout. This intoxicating barrel has a spicy nose with hints of caramel tones. The whisky itself was heavy on cinnamon, caramel and spice notes. We plan on aging this brew for several months and will announce its release at some exciting time in the future. |
Bringing Back the Eddy Hop Shirt
In a sweatshirts too!
Due to popular demand we are going to do two things we have never done before. First, we will be re-releasing the very popular Eddy Hop shirt. It has been 8 years and we finally broke Dennis down and convinced him to print a limited quantity. We will begin selling them next week. Second, we will be offering the chance to get the Eddy Hop design in a sweat shirt. We have a sign-up sheet at the brewery and it will be available until April 16th and no later. We will not order extra sweat shirts so sign up early. They will be available in either a 1/4 zip or hoody. |

(Chardonnay Garganega)

Italian culture is embodied by these social gatherings and their love for food and wine. A perfect accompaniment to any gathering, our Piazza will have you reminiscing of a private table on a piazza in the center of a quaint Italian town.
Enjoy this full bodied white wine, which receives its luscious mouthfeel from fermentation on raisins in a white amarone
style experience. Note tropical fruit, peach and a touch of minerality on the nose, which follows through to a palate with
a hint of raisins and elderflower.

TORO
(Tempranillo Grenache)
It is difficult to envision Spanish culture without their infamous icon - the bull or Toro. A Toro is bold, aggressive and intense, a fitting name for this powerful wine you are sure never to forget.
This wine is an intense red characterized by cigar box and dark fruit on the nose, finishing with dates, prunes and cherry on the palate. Made in a Crianza style, toasted French oak completes the experience.

TREK
(Malbec Syrah Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot )
Thoughts of Chile take you to the awe inspiring Andes and the culture that surrounds them. Trek embodies the Chilean lifestyle of living within the mountains with a down to earth philosophy in a multitude of different microclimates and geographies.
Opening with dark roasted notes of coffee and chocolate with a hint of blackberries, this wine balances the best of four classic varietals. Fermentation on Cabernet Merlot Genuwine Winery Dried Grape Skins and French oak completes this monumental taste experience.
